Baseball and Softball Registration Postponed for Saturday

The East Brunswick Baseball League has rescheduled registration for Jan. 28 at the Cultural Arts Center.

With a forecast of between 2 and 5 inches of snow and ice tonight and into tomorrow, officials have postponed tomorrow’s registration for baseball and softball for a week.

Originally scheduled for tomorrow, registration will now be held Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at the .

Registration will cost $125 for 5 through eight year olds (second child is $65); $140 for 9 to 12 year olds (second child is $100, third child is $55); and $150 for kids who are 13 and up (second child is $115 and a third child is $65).

Softball registration is $125 ($75 for each additional child.)

Kids who sign up are guaranteed 10 games in a season, and usually at least one or more practices a week. They also get a cap and a shirt to keep.

The league also offers travel programs and opportunities to sponsor teams and is always seeking volunteers to help coach. All coaches must take the Rutgers SAFETY course.
