County Announces Registration for Slo-Pitch Softball Leagues

Editor's Note: The following informaton is a press release from the Middlesex County Office of Economic and Business Development.

Teams are being formed for the Middlesex County Parks and Recreation Office’s Spring Slo-Pitch Softball Leagues. The Men’s Sunday league and the Thursday night CO-ED league both begin play in late March.

Applications and payment are due by March 8 and are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Final team rosters are due by the second week of the season.

The Men’s Double-Header Sunday Game League starts at noon on Sundays, with second games to follow immediately. Games are played at Thomas A. Edison Park in Edison or Warren Park in Woodbridge.

Entrance fee is $275, with an additional $100 refundable forfeit fee. Umpire fees are $21 per team, per game.

The CO-ED Softball League games start at 6:30 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. on Thursdays.  Games are played at Thomas A. Edison Park in Edison or Warren Park in Woodbridge.

The entrance fee is $325, plus a $100 refundable forfeit fee. Umpire fees are $21 per team, per game.
