East Brunswick Boys' Soccer Team Edges South Brunswick

South Brunswick girls' soccer picked up a win over East Brunswick.

Boys' soccer

East Brunswick 1, South Brunswick 0: Kevin Walsh’s first half goal was all the Bears needed to come away with the victory. Ryan Goydos and Dennis Kotenko split time in goal, making three saves apiece for East Brunswick.

Goalie Erich Kaiser made six stops for South Brunswick.

South Brunswick 3, Ridge 1: Tommy Dorsay had a goal and an assist to help South Brunswick improve to 9-5-1 overall. Miles Anglin and Jorge De la bandera also found the back of the net in the win. Matt Cannon and Santiago Giraldo provided assists. 

Old Bridge 2, East Brunswick 1: Old Bridge picked up the win in double overtime. East Brunswick fell to 14-2-1 on the year.

Girls' soccer

South Brunswick 2, East Brunswick 0: Brielle Errico and Jenna Mastronardi scored the goals for South Brunswick. Errico also had an assist, as did Cagnie Antczak. Goalie Sydney Schneider made 12 stops in the win.

East Brunswick goalie Alex Kalafor made seven stops in the loss. 

South Brunswick 2, Sayreville 1: Cagnie Antczak and Brielle Errico provided the goals in the shutout win. Samantha Stojanovksi and Antzcak had the assists, and goalie Sydney Schneider made eight saves. South Brunswick improved to 10-5.

Old Bridge 2, East Brunswick 1: Sydney Rosa put East Brunswick up, 1-0, at halftime. Ellie DiLiberto provided the assist. Old Bridge scored twice in the second half for the win.

East Brunswick goalie Alex Kalafor made six saves.
