East Brunswick Football Team Green & White Picnic

The picnic was cut short due to torrential rain, however, the games went off without a hitch.

The East Brunswick Bears football squad is looking forward to a big season this fall.

The EBHS players held the Green & White picnic this week with help from the Booster Club and, of course, huge parental support.  

However, to the players it is an intersquad scrimmage that gives them a chance to prove themselves to their coaches as to who deserves to start.

"We have some kinks to work out, but by time the season comes around we will be more then ready to play hard," said Captain Jake Wojtowicz.

Captain Mike Cia said, "we really need to work harder. Today it went well and some people stood out and made impacts in the game today.  Fans can look forward to an exciting positive record year."

The team will kick off the season Sept. 9 against Monroe at 7 p.m.
