East Brunswick Girls Lacrosse Earns First Win

Coach expecting good season.

The East Brunswick High School girls lacrosse team may not have gotten the start it wanted, but Coach Sheri Grondski is expecting a big finish.

"We've had a rough start to this season, but with hard work and dedication, we should be a contender in the conference this year," Grondski said.

East Brunswick lost its first two games. On April 1 the Bears were defeated by Old Bridge, 16-5. Shannon Carney scored two goals for East Brunswick in the loss. Stephanie Chou, Carly Spiewak and Carissa Smith (assist) scored a goal each.
