EBHS Alum Powers Muhlenberg Football to Postseason
Peter Sorrento won Special Forces award, given to the team's special teams MVP for each game.
Senior Peter Sorrento, of East Brunswick, helped the Muhlenberg College football team earn a postseason berth in 2013.
Sorrento played in all 11 games on special teams and as a reserve linebacker for the Mules. He finished the season with 16 tackles, a pass breakup and the first interception of his career, which he returned 59 yards in a Homecoming victory over McDaniel.
Sorrento received the Special Forces award, given to the team’s special teams MVP for each game, from the Mule coaching staff after that contest.

Muhlenberg finished the 2013 campaign second in the conference with a 7-2 mark.
The Mules were 8-3 overall and earned their 10th postseason berth in 14 seasons, dropping a close game to Salisbury in the ECAC South Atlantic Bowl.
