Olympic Fencer's Pooch Vacationing in East Brunswick

International Fencing star Tim Morehouse may be competing in London to compete in the Olympics, but his thoughts are on someone very special right here in East Brunswick—his  French bulldog, Louie Morehouse.

According to friends at the , located in the , Louie has been staying at “sleep away camp” with two cabin mates in East Brunswick while his father represents the USA in Olympic fencing (he went to the semi-finals and finished 8th in individual competition). He’s so happy here that he’s even started his own Facebook Page.

According to the story, while Morehouse was fencing in a World Cup in Poland in May, Louie was attacked while staying in the boarding kennel in New York City.  Because of the attack, Louie needed some stitches to attach his ear.

Fortunately Louie has recovered nicely and is now busy posting all about his dad’s adventures in London. But when it came time for the London Olympics, Morehouse wanted to make sure Louie was safe while he is away.

"It gives me peace of mind to know he is so well taken care of while I am away plus untold joy to see him having fun at camp,” Morehouse told a club representative.
