Wrestlers Move On to States
The East Brunswick Bears is sending three wrestlers to the state tournament, scheduled for Friday.
East Brunswick is sending three wrestlers to the State Championships in Atlantic City.
Following this weekend’s Region 5 championships, the Bears saw two champions and one second place finisher.
Sean Glasgow won at 132 pounds with a 7-6 decision; Jonathan Schleifer won at 160 with a 13-0 win, and Michael Quintin took second at 220 pounds following a close 2-1 decision

This is Schleifer’s third Regional title, making him the winningest wrestler in EBHS history. The first round of the states are March 8.
