Wilf Campus Receives Low Vision Machine Donation
Faye Bradus, a resident at Martin & Edith Stein Assisted Living who has macular degeneration, has been using the facility’s new low vision machine. Bradus, who is excited to have the machine at Stein, uses the equipment to read books and send her paper mail. The machine was recently donated by Vis-Ability, and set up and delivered by Michael Parker. The old low vision machine at Stein had stopped working and a new one was needed. Sarah Masucci, MSW from the Somerset Office on Aging and Disabilities, made the donation possible. Residents at The Lena and David T. Wilentz Senior Residence will also have access to the machine.
