In this free presentation, consumer health advocate and author Katherine Woodfield gives an easy-to-understand overview of what is covered by the act and describes the consumer protections built into the act.

Vietnam Vets Shares Their Stories, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 2 p.m.

Of the 2.8 million military personnel who served in uniform in Vietnam, some 60,00 never came home. Those who survived returned to a hostile reception. It took decades for the United States to formally honor their services and commemorate the fallen. Come out to hear three Vietnam vets share their stories.
