Benefit Dinner, Musical Review Highlight East Brunswick Weekend

A Taste of Tuscany Dinner Benefit for Little Zach Nemeth, East Brunswick Elks, 21 Oakmont Avenue, 7 p.m.

Menu of roast pork with Italian glaze, Italian pot roast, Tuscan chicken and much more from chefs Jan and John Locklear. Adult tickets $15 per person, children ages 4- to 10-years-old $6 per person. Free for children 3-years-old and under. Reservations required, call 732-238-3733 and leave a message.

The World Goes 'Round, Playhouse 22, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, 8 p.m.

The World Goes 'Round is a musical revue showcasing the songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb. The show consists of a collection of songs from Chicago, Cabaret and Funny Lady. Performances are Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. and Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. as well as Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 at 8 p.m., and Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at www.Playhouse22.org by phone at 732-254-3939 or at the box office window.  

Free Tech Help, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 11 a.m.

Adults: come get free tech help from talented and patient teen tech coaches. If you have a device that you need help with (a cell phone, eReader, laptop), just bring it with you. They also offer help with basic computer functions and programs. You'll find the Geek League at a table near the computer lab.

American Cancer Society Event, Mid State Mall 314 State Highway 18 North East Brunswick, 1 p.m.

All are invited to come to any A.C. Moore store from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to make their own pink stretch band bracelet for FREE, so people of all ages can show their support in the fight against breast cancer at upcoming walks and events.
