Football Film Festival, Blood Drive Highlight East Brunswick Weekend

Friday

Cinema & Stories, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 10:30 a.m.

Preschoolers will love to see their favorite books come to life on the big screen. The program is for children ages 2 and up with an adult. 

Saturday

A Super Football Saturday at the Library, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 10 a.m.

Celebrate the Super Bowl coming to the NJ Meadowlands Stadium at the library with games, movies and snacks. Open to all ages, you’ll be able to watch an all-day marathon of football movies in the community room. Movies include Invincible and The Blind Side.

Sunday

Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Screening, East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, 8:30 a.m.

The EBJC Social Action Committee and Men's Club, in conjunction with Young Israel of East Brunswick and B'nai Shalom, will be hosting a blood drive at the EBJC from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The drive will be conducted by New Jersey Blood Services. To sign up for a specific time,
please go to www.ebjc.org/blooddrive. While walk-ins are welcome, sign 
up appointments will be given priority. Donors must be in good health and free of cold symptoms. To get more information and a few restrictions, email blooddrive@ebjc.org, howard_jacobs20@yahoo.com or call NJ Blood Services at 800 933-2566.
Also in conjunction with this blood drive, there will be a bone marrow screening (a simple cheek swab) run by Smiles4Shira.
