Get in the Holiday Spirit in East Brunswick This Weekend

A Christmas Carol at Playhouse 22, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

“A Christmas Carol” is based on the novella by Charles Dickens.  It the immortal story the story of a miserable miser who learns to keep Christmas in his heart with the help of several ghostly spirits and Tiny Tim. All tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at Playhouse22.org, at the door or over the phone at (732) 254-3939.

Cub Scout Pack 98 Goodies for Good Guys, Crossroads North Middle School Cafeteria, South Brunswick, 7:30 p.m.

Cub Scout Pack 98 will be collecting donations of items to be sent to our troops stationed in Afghanistan. At the meeting there will be several stations set up with a military theme, including a station where the scouts will be writing letters and drawing pictures for the troops. Everyone is welcome to participate and to learn what scouting is all about. Any questions please email joehobbsjr@comcast.net.

Make a Birdhouse or Bird Feeder Trash to Treasure, 80 Scotts Corner Road, Cranbury, 2:30 p.m.

Birds are one ofthe best ways to connect with wildlife in and around your home. In this class, learn how to make a bird house or birdfeeder from things we normally consider disposable. If you choose to make a birdfeeder, they will give you some seed to get started feeding the birds as soon as you get home. Cost is $5 for non-members, $3 for members. Pre-Register by calling 609-897-9400.
