Halloween Parties, Casino Night in East Brunswick Weekend Events

Annual EBHS marching band competition, freecycling event and more highlight weekend events in town.

Friday

Kids Night Out, New York Sports Club, East Brunswick, 6 p.m.

Sports Clubs for Kids at NYSC East Brunswick is hosting a Halloween themed party to help raise money for children with cancer. So come show off your costume and have fun while helping to make a difference. There is a suggested donation of $30. All proceeds will be donated to the Francis Foundation to support children in the fight against cancer.

Saturday

East Brunswick 31st Annual Marching Band CompetitionEast Brunswick High School, Jay Doyle Field, 5 p.m.

Over a dozen top high school bands coming to East Brunswick for annual competition. Admission costs $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for students and free for kids 6-years-old and under. Attendees will get $1 off their admission Price with the donation of a non-perishable food item to support M.C.F.O.O.D.S, which serves over 70 food pantries throughout Middlesex County. Bands competing include Old Bridge HS, JP Stevens HS, South Brunswick HS, North Brunswick  HS, John F. Kennedy HS, Piscataway HS, Scotch Plains-Fanwood HS, Edison HS, West Windsor- Plainsboro HS,  Westfield HS, Bayville HS, NY, Oceanside HS, NY,  Maurice J. McDonough HS, MD.

Games, prizes, wine and cheese, dancing and more. Awards for sexiest costume, best couple, funniest and scariest costume. Admission costs $25 per person or $100 for a party of five.

Freecycling, East Brunswick High School, 380 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, 9 a.m.

An opportunity to donate and recycle virtually anything. But

that's only the half of it. The best part is that you can take away anything else you want that someone else left there. It's a big trading event and it's all free. More information on the Friends of the EB Environmental Commission at www.friendsebec.com.

Halloween Party for Kids, 6 Edgeboro Road, East Brunswick, 4 p.m.

Games, dancing, snacks, plus every child go home with a gift. Admission is $25 per person.

A Fundraiser for the March of Dimes, The Jumping Jungle, 10 Alvin Ct, East Brunswick, 4:45 p.m.

Jumping Jungle will be hosting an open jump with all proceeds benefiting the Central Jersey Division of the March of Dimes Foundation.

East Brunswick Casino Night, Young Israel of East Brunswick, 193 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, 7 p.m.

Featuring authentic roulette, black jack, poker, and more, all hosted by professional dealers. A Glatt Kosher Chinese buffet dinner with soft beverages and dessert is included with admission.
