Butterfly Park in East Brunswick was conceived by the East Brunswick Environmental Commission. It was developed primarily through volunteer efforts and donations with help from the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Planning Department. The park is adjacent t0 Great Oak Park. The park has hiking and walking trails, benches, bird feeders and is used by various community groups for nature and environmental projects. During the spring and summer, butterflies and moths make it their home due to the plants growing there.
