I decided to write a review when I saw their Mega Movies ad. We just moved into the area and received a couple coupons for here. It was only a 10 minute ride. We went to the theater to go use them and was pleasantly surprised. The seats were comfy and the armrests come up so it becomes like a big double chair. You can bring in their Nathan’s and Ben & Jerry’s right into the movie. We both had cheese steaks and fries and shakes from Ben and Jerry’s. Still couldn’t pass up the popcorn because of the free extra flavored toppings. My old theater charged for the extra popcorn flavors. (This must not be a big chain or they wouldn’t have given us stuff for free) I love the Jalapeno Cheddar. We tried their coffee after the show. It was pretty good. This theater was great.

They give us Baby Boomers discounts a discount every day except Friday and Saturday. Wish they could those days too, but Mega has comfortable seats and lots of legroom so that helps make a difference. Mega also has an active email program so we always know what's playing and what the deals are. Everyone should sign up to get their emails.

Ever since the Regal closed in Marlboro, I have been going to the Mega theatre in East Brunswick. They have stadium seating and the Freehold theater doesn't. Also the seats are better than at the Freehold theater. Its an easy ride on Rt 18. The traffic on Rt 9 is awful. I'm writing because they just lowered the price for people over 55 on weekdays. I think Sunday too. Its a big help to me and I think everyone else my age.
I love Mega Movies and go there for all my movies. Recently I joined there page on facebook. I thought it was just going to be the new movies and discussions of movies which it was. BUT they also had great coupons on the page some for Ben and Jerrys and some for the theater. This was a really pleasant surprise and it seems theres new coupons every month. Gotta love saving money!!!

I like the theater, but there is a light odor of musty or dirty carpet. They may need to hire a better carpet cleaner because its an odor I don't smell in other theaters. If it wasn't for the light odor, I would rate this theater a 5 stars.
I sat in the d-box motion seats last week and I honestly think they were the coolest things since IMAX. Let alone I got a free popcorn when I bought a drink cause it was tuesday and they had a special.

I already wrote when we first tried Mega movies. Last night we tried the DBOX chairs that move to the movie. This is now the best way to see a movie. We felt like we were in the movie, actually in the scenes almost like being the actor. Highly recommended. We tried it with Sherlock Holmes. The movie was great but even with paying extra it was Awesome in these seats. Plus you get reserved seating.

I went and saw Footloose a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. It was our first time at Mega Movies and we loved the theater. The seats were beyond comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We loved how after the movie we went for ice cream no more than 50 feet away at Ben and Jerry. It was a great night and I would highly recommend this theater.
