Zimmerli Art Museum is located on Rutgers' New Brunswick campus, next to Voorhees Hall, and is home to an extensiveMore collection of art from all over the world. Here, art pieces are collected, preserved, exhibited and researched to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of Rutgers students as well as the general public. The museum features rotating exhibitions, as well as a permanent collection of more than 60,000 objects. Its largest collections are of American art, nineteenth-century French art and Russian and Soviet nonconformist art. Programs and resources for elementary, middle and high-school students are also available.
