Frozen Delights on Route 18

CUPS Yogurt has grand opening, Friday.

CUPs yogurt opened its doors to the public on Friday. With 24 flavors and almost 60 toppings, word of the frozen yogurt store has been traveling fast, and that's exactly how Andy Race, director of operations likes it. "We got the word out on facebook and twitter and all our employees love what theydo and they tell their friends first," he said. "There's nothing like word of mouth." The East Brunswick CUPS will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit www.cupsfrozenyogurt.com. CUPS Yogurt to Open Friday

CUPS is just one of a few businesses set to open in the new Summerhill Square.

East Brunswick’s newest business is about to open its doors. CUPS Frozen Yogurt will open its sixth New Jersey location at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 8 at the Summerhill Square. The first CUPS opened in Clifton in 2010 and offers 24 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces. CUPS recently opened new locations in East Hanover, Bayonne, Morristown and Paramus. A Bridgewater location is slated to open later this month.  "It's more of a club like experience. We have loud dance music with lighting and murals that give us a little bit of an edgy vibe versus a normal yogurt bar or ice cream shop," said Rick Barbrick, President and COO of The Briad Group, and CUPS co-founder, in a press release. Cups Yogurt, Chipotle and Saruku to Open on Route 18

Development of the Summerhill Square continues.

The new Summerhill Square shopping mall on Route 18 is getting ready for the addition of three new stores. William A. Lenaz, senior vice president of R.J. Brunelli & Co. Inc. in Old Bridge, said Tuesday that the Saruku Japan sushi and teriyaki restaurant, Cups Frozen Yogurt and Chipotle will all take up residence in a new section of the mall close to Route 18 and across the parking lot from the mall’s main structure. Lenaz said Chipotle could open by the end of the month, with the others opening sometime in the next 60 to 90 days. The eateries will join Pier 1 Imports, Five Below, Ulta, Muscle Maker Grill, David’s Bridal, Torrid, and Annie Sez as tenants next to Babies R Us and Toys R Us. 5 Guys was supposed to take over the building of "Greenfield Jewelry" My mom is a Real Estate Agent at Davis Realtors and she worked with 5 guys but the thing is 5 guys wants to knock down and make a smaller building but township wont let them.
