Who has the best “decked” house in the area? We had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and in our quest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in the country, we’ve seen everything from a life-size Santa to holiday lights so bright they could blind the neighbors. We loved showcasing everyone’s holiday spirit, but Deck the House isn’t over yet. We’re still looking for the one home so spectacularly decorated that it could be the national grand prize winner of our contest. We will choose 25 finalists from all our entries across the country. From Dec. 18- Dec. 28, vote for your favorite and that person could win $100,000 for his or her local school district. All you have to do is visit this page to browse…

We’re launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country—the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s. If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page at http://deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/eastbrunswick until Dec. 16 and enter. Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Patch.com is launching a nationwide contest to find the best dressed home in its Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached. Here’s how the contest works. Beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing through Dec. 26, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the site. During that same time period you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home. The winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge that will select 24 finalists. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill. ‘Tis the season to Deck the House—and Patch wants to reward those with the best decorated houses in Patchland. Between Dec. 8 and Dec. 26, residents of Patch towns are encouraged to post photos and videos of their “decked out” houses to our site as part of a national contest that could net your local school district $100,000. There will be more than 800 local winners, who will represent their Patch communities in the national contest. Judges will then choose 24 finalists who will get up to $500 toward their December electric bills. A grand-prize winner will be selected from the finalists and a $100,000 contribution will be made to the local public school district in which the winner lives.
