Celebrities To Play B-Ball for East Brunswick

The charity basketball game will be held at 7 p.m. April 20 at Churchhill Junior High School.

The First Annual NFL East Brunswick Celebrity Basketball Tour with Lonnie Allgood’s Dreams for Kids will feature celebrity athletes taking on East Brunswick players in the name of charity. The game will be held at 7 p.m. April 20 at Churchill Junior High School, according to a press release from the township department of Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Services. The East Brunswick’s Community all-star team, comprised of local teachers, coaches, parents and students will face off against a team of former and current NFL players. Tricky Tray to Benefit EB Youth Council

Come in an HDTV, theater tickets and more, all while helping a good cause.

The East Brunswick Youth Council’s 5th Annual Tricky Tray and Gift Auction will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, Churchill Junior High School, 18 Norton Road. The doors open at 6 p.m. for viewing and the drawings will begin at 7:30 Advance admission may be purchased at the Department of Recreation & Parks located at 350 Dunhams Comer Road for $7 and includes one sheet of 25 tickets, door prize ticket and complimentary refreshments. Youth Council Multi Family Giant Yard Sale Is Saturday

Great bargains on tap for the annual sale.

The East Brunswick Youth Council Multi-Family Giant Yard Sale is set for Saturday, May 19, at the Crystal Springs Aquatic Center parking lot from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bargains, treasures and collector's items are bound to be in abundance at the event. Stop by and get household items, games, pet supplies, sports equipment, furniture, bagage and much more. Tricky Tray to Benefit Youth Council

The Fourth Annual Tricky Tray and Gift Auction will be held Friday, Jan. 20.

The East Brunswick Youth Council will hold its Fourth Annual Tricky Try and Gift Auction on Friday, Jan. 20, at Hammarskjold Middle School. The doors open at 6 p.m. for a viewing with drawings will begin at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the East Brunswick Youth council, which provides students in grades nine through 12 with social activities in a safe, positive environment while promoting individual self-esteem and leadership through participation in meetings, events and community service projects.
