Scott Gillman says East Brunswick is a great location for a new Smashburger restaurant. “We’ve always like the area,” said the CEO of Mascot Corporation, owners of all New Jersey Smashburger locations. “We’re always involved with great communities and East Brunswick is a great community, with great kids, great schools and a lot of great families.” The newest Smashburger will be opening in the Summerhill Square on Route 18 in late-January, making it the 12th of its kind in New Jersey. Verizon Wireless announced this week that it’s going to hire full and part time sales people right now. In a statement released this week, the provider said it is seeking qualified applicants to fill new positions now available in the company’s business sales and retail store teams throughout the New York Metro Region. The company plans to hire 20 full-time Inside Sales Representatives in Orangeburg, N.Y., and 118 part-time Retail Sales (RSR) and Retail Customer Support (CCR) positions throughout the region, including in East Brunswick.
