House of Cupcakes Looks to April Opening in East Brunswick

Cupcakes are still on their way to East Brunswick, but they will now be arriving in the spring. House of Cupcakes, a popular Princeton bakery, is opening a new location in the Summerhill Square shopping plaza on Route 18. Owner Ruthie Bzdewka said that if all goes well, East Brunswick residents will be noshing on cupcakes by the end of April, as they have just obtained the necessary permits, and construction started last week, she said. Previously, Bzdewka told Patch that the bakery was hoping to open in March. House of Cupcakes gained national attention a few years ago when their treats won "Cupcake Wars" on the Food Network. John, sooo true about coffee.. People drink it like it's a symbol of high class or something! I do love a good cupcakes, but I can bake a batch for the price of two! Might be popular with teens, hang out, eat cake, whatever. Not seeing the glamour though :)   more ›
