Whitman, Ph.D., an environmental engineer and consultant, who will discuss the pros and cons of this current and controversial topic which involves extracting natural gas from shale. Dr. Whitman is a recognized expert on site remediation and on compliance with ISRA, the New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act. He serves on the Site Remediation Advisory Committee, a group established to assist the state Department of Environmental Protection in implementing its site remediation activities.
