Planet Bike Eyes Route 18 Comeback
The owner of Planet Bike says he hopes to be back on Route 18 by April. A fire destroyed the shop and two others in early February.
After a fire destroyed the business he’d spent 15 years building, Planet Bike owner Barry Dicken says he’s ready for a come back. On Monday, Dicken said he has been looking at sites along Route 18 in East Brunswick, and hopes to be back in business by April and should have a site selected within weeks. On Feb. 2, a fire that started in the attic of the building Planet bike is located in destroyed the establishment. The business was connected Asian nails and United Check Cashing, both of which have had to move.
