Need a Job? North Brunswick Smashburger is Hiring

The burger restaurant will hire 50 new employees to staff its North Brunswick location opening in April.

Smashburger, a new hamburger restaurant opening in North Brunswick, has announced that it plans to hire 50 staff members to work at the new store, slated to open in late April. According to the a press release from the company, experienced cashiers, cooks, managers and shift supervisors are sought to staff the restaurant, located at 875 Route 1 in North Brunswick and operated by Mascott Corporation. Cashier applicants must be at least 16 years old and cooks must be at least 18 years old. Managers and shift supervisors must have at least two years of  restaurant management/supervision experience, the release said. Applicants can apply two ways: they can visit the North Brunswick restaurant between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday …

I will say to eat Halthy Meal why not go to Muscle Maker Grill in North Brunswick located next to LA Fitness in A&P Plaza. They have more and better choice of Wraps, pasta, salad and sandwiches. The staff if good and above all the food taste really good besides being healthy & fresh. Highly recommended!!!!   more ›

Smashburger Opens in East Brunswick

The Summerhill Square restaurant has its grand opening on Tuesday.

It was Monday afternoon, almost a full day before its official opening, but already the new East Brunswick Smashburger was mobbed. The Summerhill Square restaurant held a soft opening Monday, serving up burgers, fries and drinks to invited guests as a way to prepare for its Tuesday grand opening. “We expect to do well here, said Scott Gillman, CEO of Mascot Corporation, owners of all New Jersey Smashburger locations. “We expect it to be our best site.” The East Brunswick Smashburger is the 12th of its kind in New Jersey, and one of the first in Central Jersey. Ate at Smashburger today. I wanted to like it. Had a good vibe when I walked in, but the food was very unimpressive. The burger was average at best. It was cooked well done and wasn't too juicy...maybe from smashing the juice out. There's a difference between greasy and juicy and it doesn't seem like they're sure about that. Smashburger to Open in January

The restaurant wants to hire kitchen workers, front end help and fill management positions.

Scott Gillman says East Brunswick is a great location for a new Smashburger restaurant. “We’ve always like the area,” said the CEO of Mascot Corporation, owners of all New Jersey Smashburger locations. “We’re always involved with great communities and East Brunswick is a great community, with great kids, great schools and a lot of great families.” The newest Smashburger will be opening in the Summerhill Square on Route 18 in late-January, making it the 12th of its kind in New Jersey. Gillman says surrounding businesses and the community make it a perfect location. “There’s a lot of traffic on Route 18, and it draws people from retail businesses looking for lunch, professional offices, and we have the high school right behind it,” he said…
