Silver Bullets Soccer Squad Seeks Players

The Central New Jersey Silver Bullets Blue Lightning U14 girls team will hold open try outs every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

CNJSB Blue Lightning U14 Girls located in East Brunswick is holding open tryouts at Lawrence Brook School on Hamlin Road in East Brunswick. The team is looking for girls to join our team for summer select, guest play at tournaments and for the fall season. We are professionally Coached and trained. We practice and play all year around. If you are looking for excellent competition and training, come out and see us. We will be holding open tryouts every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday starting May 1: Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. , Friday 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30-11 a.m. If your birthdate falls between August 1998 and July 2000 or you are interested in playing up and you are interested in coming to a tryout or need more information. Make a Difference with TOPSoccer (VIDEO)

The East Brunswick Soccer Club's program helps those with special needs enjoy the "beautiful game."

It’s an easy way to make a difference, and a great way to get outside and have some fun. TOPSoccer (The outreach Program for Soccer) is hosted by EBSC every Saturday morning at the level playing field at Heavenly Farms. Since its inception, it has promoted athletics, fitness and soccer to special needs children and young adults. The program pairs “Buddy” coaches with students and consists of stretching and ball work, fun games and skill development and then full-field games to close each weekly session. Local Athletes Sign Letters of Intent (VIDEO)

EBHS seniors Natasha Ntone Kouo, Julia Wescott, and Rob Ukawuba signed letters of intent on Wednesday.

It was a big day for East Brunswick athletics. Wednesday was National Signing Day, and three East Brunswick High School seniors signed letters of intent to play in college. Natasha Ntone Kouo (soccer) agreed to attend the University of Maryland, Julia Wescott (soccer) agreed to attend Lafayette College, and Rob Ukawuba (basketball) agreed to play at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. A four-year varsity starter, Ukawuba has scored more than 1,000 points during his high school career and helped lead the team to two division championships. United FC Climbs State and National Rankings

The U13 Boys Team clinched the EDP Division Title for the fall season.

United FC U13B beat Upper Makefield, Pa., and clinched EDP’s Division Title for the fall season.  United FC’s coaching staff is very proud of the accomplishments obtained in the last five months by these young players. The team had some great performances and was rewarded with ranking points in 6 out of the last 7 competitions.  The team has been very consistent while competing in one of the best regional leagues and in highly ranked tournaments. With the accomplishment, United FC improved its ranking to No. 2 in New Jersey and No. 16 nationally.  These results also correlate to the selection of some United FC players to the prestigious EDP Talent Identification program (TIP), Regional TIP Squad, Red Bulls Showcase squads and Koolton’s …

United FC Moves Ahead in State Cup Competition

The boy came up with a last minute victory Sunday at Heavenly Farms.

The U13 United FC East Brunswick Soccer Club boys squad is on fire. The team will face Milburn SC Titans Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m at the Wall Soccer Club facilities.This is the third trip in three years to the Semi-Finals for United. The team won the 2010 New Jersey State Championship. United is coached by 2011 New Jersey Youth Soccer Travel Coach of the Year, Hector Escobar, Joe Camarota and Ilear Shehaj. "This is an exciting achievement by this team," said EBSC President James Harmon. "The club is very proud of their accomplishments. Eric Kent led the East Briunswick Girls Soccer team toa victory Tuesday over Edison in the quarterfinals of the Greater Middlesex Conference Championships. The team beat Edison 1-0. Lady Bears Win Red Division

The East Brunswick Girls Varsity Soccer team dominated rival South Brunswick, Tuesday.

The East Brunswick Girls Soccer team had a big week. After a 5-0 win over Piscataway on Saturday, the bears defeated South Brunswick 6-2 on Tuesday to capture it’s the Greater Middlesex Conference-Red Division Championship for the ninth straight year. Natasha Ntone Kouo scored three goals and assisted on two others and Sydney Rosa added two goals. Julia Wescott scored the opening goal, according to www.nj.com. Thrashers Take First in Tournament

The U11 boys team came up big in the September tournament.

13 Ignite Wins South Brunswick Kickoff Tournament!

U13 Ignite comes up big at South Brunswick.

East Brunswick Ignite U13 girls went undefeated (3-0-1) to win the 30th Annual South Brunswick Kickoff Tournament held Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. With seven new girls on the roster this year, this is a great way to begin the fall season. The team is coached by Bill Curreri and Paul Levine, and trained by Lauren Esposito.
