The freshman boys basketball team defeated North Brunswick to win the GMC championship.
The Churchill Junior High School freshman boys basketball team are kings of the court! The squad defeated top seeded North Brunswick 57-53 to capture the Greater Middlesex County Conference Tournament, according to GMC Hoops Blogosphere. According to the web site, the Bears were led to victory by guard John McHenry, and forward Nick Fudali while the Raiders were paced by Kishnan Patel in defeat.
