Snow possible tonight and tomorrow
Much of our area got a light covering of snow on Saturday night and into Sunday morning. If the National Weather Service is correct we may see more snow before the week is done. There is at least a 40 percent chance of snow tonight and Tuesday night. Whether there is snow or not the forecast does not include any days with temperatures in the 40s until at least Friday. The high temperature for today is predicted to be near 32 with a chance of flurries before a low of 22 tonight with more snow possible. The high temperature for Tuesday looks to be only 34 before dipping back down to 23 tonight with another chance of snow. The warm, sunny weather that our area enjoyed on Sunday figures to be the last such day we see for at least a week, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday looks to be another freezing, cold day with a high of just 27 but no more precipitation expected to fall. There is a slight chance of rain for Tuesday night with a low of just 14 degrees. Rain could continue into Wednesday with a high temperature of just 27 degrees predicted before a low of 17 at night. Thursday looks to be sunny but a high of just 30 degrees before dropping down to a low of 20 when the sun sets.
