Gam, we've been having problems with our delivery of police info. We usually get a heads up from Breaking News Network. We're working on fixing it. BUT if anyone hears or sees anything like this, email me at deborah.bell@patch.com, or call. My number is 732-306-7552. We rely on the public to let us know what's going on - Woodbridge is 25 square miles. If you're somewhere and you see something that looks big, let me know!

On the article Power Plant PILOT Program on Council Agenda

The BOE will receive money; the only difference is that township taxpayers will pay more in BOE taxes to make up the difference. Every time there's a PILOT program, all other taxpayers pay more in property taxes to make up for the tax break. This partially explains why BOE property taxes are so high.

I agree, Cherylanne. Perhaps the next time something like that is going on in town, you can let me know. The communications department doesn't publicize these events, so it's easy to miss things.

"And it was possibly even this incorrect information they got from you - not the mayor or Wawa - that thwarted the preservationists in their efforts."
The information I got in October 2012 was correct. The stories I've written on the diner are correct. I stand behind what I wrote.

As far as I know - no, that isn't what happened. Again, the article is about at least a dozen people who wanted to MOVE the diner to another location, not keep the diner where it was.

Thanks for the warning. I added it to the article.
