Joe R- I do not use K-12 as it is a state run program I use a variety of sources including online teachers, courses and instruction. Both my husband and I work full time in order to be able to pay our bills and taxes living here in NJ. Schooling does not have to be done 8 am - 3 pm we have late afternoons, weekends and days off to school. My 8 year old son who would be in 3rd grade in public school is working on a 4th-5th grade level. He also is very independent and works on subjects alone. The homeschool community has programs, classes and gym class which he also attends with his friends. Our sacrifice to school him at home is worth it. My older children were able to get into top universities on academic scholarships. We have taken our children's education into our own hands and it has paid off. Home schooling is not as hard as people assume and you don't have to be trained as a teacher to teach them. Thankfully there are many resources available these days to families.

ReplyHomeschool it's the only way. Parents don't worry about your child being socialized worry about them being taught socialism. Parents invest in your child's future and take their education into your own hands. It is not as hard as you may think.

ReplyWere the kids safe?.. Then why the hell are parents complaining? You have got to be kdidding me. You want the cops to be there, complain, expect them to be perfect and if something serious happened you would be suing them.

ReplyThe NDAA.. serious questions have come up regarding Obama giving himself additional powers to kill any American at anytime he feels they are a threat to our country. He has made himself every American Citizens judge, jury and executer.

ReplyAbout two years ago the black fist of the socialist movement poster was hanging in the hallways of RBR. My son notified me and when I called the school I was told they did not notice them displayed. I confirmed what my son told me with other parents who confirmed their children also saw them hanging on the walls. . The logo of a black fist showing power is similar to the Black Panthers logo... Let us all remember Trooper Foerster who was executed because he was white by the Black Panthers. This is only one of the many reasons I choose to school my youngest at home. I choose to teach him that we live in a wonderful democratic country called America that many men and women fight and die to protect the system our founding Fathers set up. I wonder why so many want to change our wonderful country. Actually I would hope they get the hell out if they don't like our system. I for one would give them a ride to the airport or border and happily wave bye-bye.

ReplyAnyone who affiliates himself with the socialist thought of mind has not worked 14 hour days, paid payroll taxes, property taxes, income taxes . They want their "fair" share off everyone else's blood, sweat and tears. Our country is in the crapper. I want everything for free too but was raised the right way.

The reason so many seek political positions. They do not do it for the pay it is for the extra benefits, connections and financial gain from "friends" who want a kick back. It is all about making ones wallet fatter at the cost of the taxpayers.
