Turnpike Plaza Opens Public Meeting Room to Local Community
The Route 18 building has a newly renovated meeting room that is available for free to community groups in need of a meeting space.
The Turnpike Plaza building on Route 18 seeks to welcome community groups into the building who require free space to hold meetings and gatherings.
Silvertree Commercial Real Estate, the agency that owns and manages the Turnpike Plaza building located at 197 Route 18, and Davis Realtors, a real estate company housed in the building, have paired together to renovate a room on the ground floor of the office building into a cafe-style space that is now available for community groups to use for free as a meeting spot.
The 850 sq. foot room is equipped with wi-fi, tables and chairs and a working flat-screen TV. Restrooms are nearby on the same level.

Free parking is available in the building's covered parking garage.
The room also includes a counter top suitable for a buffet setup for lunch meetings, and will soon be outfitted with vending machines and a coffee station, said Paul Donnolo of Silvertree Commercial Real Estate.

The idea behind the renovation was to make the underutilized room available for the public good, he said.
The room can be booked for meetings during the day and at night, Donnolo said.
