EBHS Makes the Grade on Best High Schools List

East Brunswick High School's graduation rate, SAT scores and advanced placement students have earned it a ranking among the top 500 high schools in the country for 2013.

According to Newsweek's America's Best High School's list, the township high school is ranked 484 out of the nation's 2,000 best public high schools.

Schools are ranked by the college readiness of their respective students. The annual rankings take into account each school's graduation rate, college acceptance rate, advanced placement testing and the percentage of students enrolled in at least one advanced placement course and average SAT scores, according to Newsweek.

East Brunswick High School showed a 99 percent graduation rate for the 2011-12 school year, with 93 percent of those students college-bound.

The average SAT score was 1674 for that year, according to Newsweek.
