Arf, Arf: Cats and Dogs Up for Adoption

The Animal Rescue Force is holding several pet adoption events this weekend. Visit one of them or visit all of them!

Help find a cat or dog a home by attending one of several adoption events sponsored by the Animal Rescue Force of East Brunswick this weekend. ARF holds weekly adoption events throughout the area to find homes for animals that would have been euthanized in a shelter or whose parents can no longer care for them.

Every Saturday and Sunday you can find ARF at the PetSmart on
Route 18 in East Brunswick from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; at the Petco on Route 1 in Edison from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Road, Englishtown, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (located in the big gray building).

Visit ARF's web page HERE.

Jennifer is probably a doxie/Chihuahua mix, about 2 years old, and weighs 13 pounds.  She is great with kids, but may not get along with other dogs.  She was found as a stray, She has just been spayed.  To adopt her will cost $250, which includes her spay, shots, heartworm test, ID chip. Jennifer will be at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Road, Englishtown, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (located in the big gray building). Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. to see if anything has changed. ARF may not be present if it is raining.

Patches is a gray and white neutered male cat who loves everybody. He is obnoxiously affectionate.  He is 6 years old, long-haired, and quite handsome.  He needs a great home where he can be brushed each day, which he loves.   He is still playful as you can see in his 2nd pic.. He is also negative for Felv/Fiv, and is up to date on his shots. Patches will be at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Road, Englishtown, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (located in the big gray building). Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. to see if anything has changed.
