Former NFL Player Alan Veingrad to Appear at Young Israel

Super Bowl Champion Alan Veingrad will talk about how he transformed from NFL offensive lineman, to Torah Observant Jew.

Alan Veingrad may be the only former NFL player in history to become a Torah-observant Orthodox Jew. 

Veingrad, a former NFL offensive lineman with the Green Bay Packers and a member of the Super Bowl XXVII Champion Dallas Cowboys will tell his story during a visit to on Sunday, Jan. 29.

Presented by Torah Links of Middlesex County, the event will begin with a 10:30 a.m. brunch, with the presentation beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Veingrad has appeared on NBC, NPR, JM in the AM, as well as spotlighted in The New York Times, New York Post, The Dallas Morning News and The Miami Herald.

Veingrad will relate his personal transformation from the discipline of being a professional athlete to a leader of high-performance sales teams and then an observant Jew.
