GBC Cheerleaders Soar to New Heights

The Junior Pee Wees are on their way to the Central Jersey Eastern Regional Competition, Sunday.

Golden Bear Chargers East Brunswick/Spotswood Junior Pee Wee Cheerleaders are on a roll! (Pun intended!)

Some of the girls on the team have been together since they were Tiny Mites and their perseverance has paid off. This was the group's first year competing as Junior Pee Wee's and the squad placed second overall at the Central Jersey Pop Warner Competition on Oct. 15. The girls are now eligible to compete on Sunday, Oct. 30, at at the Central Jersey Eastern Regional Competition. There is one more Regional Competition before the big trip to compete in Disney World! We wish them the best of luck!

The team is coached by Myrta Maldonado, Kendall Bacskoczky and Nicole Petralia. The 2011 JPW Cheerleaders are Felicia Abline, Rose Byrne, Isabelle Cappel, Amanda Dulin, Alyson Griggs, Angie Guddat, Alexa Hologounis, Nicole Ippolito, Diana Maldanado, Samantha Martinez, Natalia Metz, Hunter Nevin, Kaylie Petralia, Alexandra Stephens-Prisock, Morgan Taylor, Amy Van Wageninge and Kayla Vicenti.

The girls exemplify what Pop Warner promotes. They are a smart, talented bunch of ladies!  Coach Kendall is an integral part of making them who they are today and her expertise is priceless.  Thank you to all of the coaches for volunteering their time and taking our children to places they will remember forever!
