If you’re looking for the perfect book to bring to the beach or on vacation, then here are a few can’t-miss suggestions from our friends at the East Brunswick Public Library.

Tick Tock,” by James Patterson. Fast-paced, plot-driven murder mystery about a murderer who recreates famous crimes.  A perfect beach read.

Graveminder,” by Melissa Marr. Claysville is safe enough, as long as the dead stay dead. The Undertaker and his Graveminder uphold the centuries-old contract between this world and the next, but the town's Graveminder has been murdered. New Undertaker Byron loves Rebekkah-he always has-but now he has to convince her that she belongs to him and the dead. A supernatural love story for readers who want to try a fantasy novel.

2030,” by Albert Brooks. A near-future world struggles with the challenges of a dramatically aging population revitalized by the cure for cancer, a scenario that is challenged by an unprecedented natural disaster that drives the government into bankruptcy.  Recommended for fans of futuristic dystopian fiction.
