Sharpen Your QuickBooks Skills at The Library

The Library has a full range of QuickBooks classes.

Get started on one of the most popular and useful financial software programs available – QuickBooks.  Offered by the Business Resource Center at the East Brunswick Public Library, these hands-on classes are designed for individuals who are just starting out with QuickBooks and those who are already familiar with it.

Registrants should have a working knowledge of the Windows environment.  Courses covering QuickBooks Level I, Level II and level III will be held on Saturdays at the East Brunswick Public Library’s Business Resource Center beginning in May. The classes run 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a half-hour break for lunch.

QuickBooks Level I will be held Saturday, May 4, Get an introduction to the software’s interface, learn how to set up the company’s QuickBooks, and how to add and work with customers, vendors, accounts and inventory in the customer and vendor centers, the chart of accounts and the lists menu. Payment for this class must be received by Wednesday, May 1.

QuickBooks Level II will be held Saturday, May 18. The class will include working with your accounts, and recording sales and payment information. This is for business people who have taken QuickBooks Level I or have a knowledge of the QuickBooks working environment. Payment for this class must be received by Wednesday May 15.

QuickBooks Level III will be held Saturday, June 1. This third class will cover payroll basics, handling sales tax, customizing QuickBooks forms, and using reports in QuickBooks. Prerequisite is QuickBooks Level I and Level II or equivalent experience. This class is not for beginners. Payment for this class must be received by Wednesday, May 29.

There is a $50 fee for each course. Seating for this program is limited so come to the Business Resource Center and register now. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted. Please make checks payable to the East Brunswick Public Library.
