Tickets Available for 2013 Phyllis Noar Puppetry Festival

Held over two weekends, the puppetry festival will feature classic tales and a lot of fun.

It's almost that time again! Come to the East Brunswick Public Library and get your tickets now for the 2013 Phyllis Noar Puppetry Festival. Held over two weekends, the festival is guaranteed to entertain and delight children of almost any age.

On Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. and again at 3 p.m., join Wonderspark Puppets for “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” For families with children between 2 and 6 years old, there will be lots of laughter and sing-alongs in this classic fairy tale.

On Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m., Lionheart Puppets will visit for a production of “The Reluctant Dragon,” based on the story by Kenneth Grahame. For families with children between 4 and 11 years old, the presentation tells the story of what happens when Harold, a young village boy, discovers a dragon in the mountains. Can he convince the villages that the dragon just wants to be friends?
