Festival to Celebrate the Arts

Ninth Annual Fine Arts Festival set for Saturday at the Municipal Pond.

Finding a great piece of original art, meeting the artist, and rubbing elbows with other talented people is easier than you think.

On Saturday, during the Ninth Annual Fine Arts Festival, artists and crafters from the region will descend on the municipal complex to share their work, demonstrate their craft, and meet and greet anyone who stops by.

“We have 60 artists and crafters signed up, a lot of local people and by that I mean New Jersey and our surrounding towns, but we also draw from Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New York,” said Recreation Supervisor Karen Kecskes. “These are generally people who do the (art festival) circuit and we’re in the area of that circuit.”
