Freedman Chiropractic Center is pleased to announce the addition of Heidi Scanlon to the staff.
Heidi is a Reiki Master Practitioner attuned and certified in the Usui White Light system of healing. She is also an affiliate of The International Center for Reiki Training.
“Reiki” is a Japanese technique for relaxation that also promotes healing on many levels. It is done through light touch incorporating various hand positions while the client lies fully clothed on a massage table. A warm and soothing energy flows from the hands into the client, promoting relaxation and releasing tension. Some of the benefits her clients have enjoyed are deep relaxation, release of stress and tension, acceleration of the body’s self-healing abilities, better sleep, pain relief, immune system support and increased vitality.

During June, new clients are invited to experience Reiki at an introductory rate of $20 for a 20 minute session. Appointments can be made by calling Freedman Chiropractic Center at 732-254-6011. The office is located at Brier Hill court D-6, East Brunswick, N.J. Hours for Reiki appointments are Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. and every other Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
