While many animals are available, here are just a few you can find this weekend.

Tatiana is a 9-year-old female bichon. She has been spayed and groomed. She is a perfect dog—a great companion. You would never guess she is 9. She loves everyone—kids, dogs. But, her owner is very ill and had to give her up. She now seems to be housetrained, but is crated when left alone. Tatiana is up-to-date on her shots and neutered/spayed. She gets attached very quickly. To adopt her will cost $150. Tatiana will be at the Petco adoption center on Route 1 in Edison in the Home Depot shopping center, on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday to see if anything has changed.

Iggy is a pug/Boston puppy and is probably 8 months old. He is a little shy, but very sweet. After 24 hours he fell in love with two volunteers; however, he takes a while to warm up to potential adopters—about an hour. He will probably be neutered on Monday. Then the new owner can take him home. To adopt him will cost $300, which includes his neuter, shots, heartworm test and ID chip. Iggy will be at PetSmart on Route 18 in East Brunswick, in the Midstate Mall shopping center Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. to see if anything has changed.

Beana is a domestic shorthaired cat that a volunteer rescued from a high kill shelter. She is very friendly and sweet. She is about 8 weeks old now. She has had her first shot and has been tested and negative for felv/fiv. She has also been dewormed. Beana will be at PetSmart on Route 18 in East Brunswick, in the Midstate Mall shopping center Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. to see if anything has changed.

Tanya was taken by an ARF volunteer from a high kill shelter. She is the sweetest cat. Loves everyone. Loves to be held and petted. She is about 1 year old, and is negative for felv/fiv, is up to date on her vaccines and micro chipped. Right now she is busy nursing four babies, who will be up for adoption once they are old enough. They are just six weeks old as of now. If you are interested in fostering this family of 5, please let ARF know. Tanya will be at the Petco adoption center on Route 1 in Edison in the Home Depot shopping center, on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday to see if anything has changed.
