Need a Detour to Churchill?
With University Road closed for much of the summer, here's a quick way to get to Churchill Junior High School.
Do you need to get to for the township's Recreation Camp?
If your kids are attending Summer Scene I or Summer Scene 1/2, you'll have to find a way to the school while Univeristy Road is closed because of repairs.
If you need to get there, take Tices Lane to Renee Road. Turn on Renee Road then make a left at the sign that says Churchill JHS. It's a small white sign placed on an existing traffic sign. Take that road until you reach a closed gate and another sign that says Summer Scene I and Summer Scene 1/2 Camper Drop Off. Make a right and follow the signs around the school until you reach the front of the building..

The township began the reconstruction of University Road last week. It will be closed to through traffic Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. In February, t. The road will be ripped up and repaved with new curbing and a water line installed.
The repairs are expected to be completed by the start of the 2011-12 school year.
