Taking Refuge at the Library

Residents without power found a place to relax and "recharge" this weekend at the library.

It has been a long week for many. After Hurricane Sandy came through, leaving the townsip in the dark, many have had little in the way of commnication with the outside world.

So when power was restored to the East Brunswick Public Library on Saturday, residents came to take advantage of its free WiFi, computers, places to sit and to charge their phones and electronics.

There were still several thousand people in East Brunswick without power on Sunday evening. The library will be open all week from 1 to 9 p.m. Computers and WiFi are free, so come by.
