First in Line For Black Friday

Colin Borden is camping out in front of Best Buy for first crack at this year's doorbusters.

It’s still more than a day away, but for some, Black Friday is already here. Sort of.

On Wednesday morning, Colin Borden of South River was camped outside of Best Buy on Route 18 in East Brunswick, getting ready for the store’s Black Friday opening. The store opens at midnight Thanksgiving Day.

“I did it a lot in high school and we always made it a big party,” said Borden. “Once people start lining up, it’ll be a good time.”

So what’s he waiting for? He plans on picking up a Blue Ray player, and two televisions, a 55-inch and a 40-inch, as well as the Xbox Bundle. But between now and then, he’ll be spending time on his laptop, inside of his tent, and on the generosity of friends and family to bring him Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
