Hess Station on Rt. 18 Robbed Again

Robbery comes day after three men were charged with robbing the station earlier this month.

Police are investigating yet another armed robbery at the Hess Station on Route 18.

According to police, a white male dressed in black and wearing a black mask entered the gas station at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, pointed a black handgun at the attendant and demanded money.

The attendant handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash at which time the suspect ran away. He was seen entering a dark colored sedan driven by a second white male, which then left the area. East Brunswick Patrol units searched the area without any results.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Jason Haykel at 732-390-6990.

According to police, Nicholas Demo, 19, of Morganville, Joseph Dolce, 21, of Manalapan, and a 16-year-old male accomplice from Manahawkin were charged after an investigation by Detectives Robert Zielinski and Daniel Unkel of the East Brunswick Police Department and Detectives Joseph Gougeon, Michael Blahota and Thomas Montagna of the Old Bridge Police Department.

The three are charged in connection to the robberies of the same Hess station, which was hit on June 30 and again on Aug. 7, and the Sunoco Station on Route 18 on Aug. 7.

I'm assuming the robbery happened on WEDNESDAY, August 29th at 11:30 PM because I am reading this on Thursday, August 30th at 1:00 PM, and if it really happens on Thursday we need to share some of that psychic technology that can see into the future. :) Or, I'll need to find myself one of these devices and watch the football games one week in advance while I'm in Vegas, just like a McFly.

Sorry to disappoint you, it was just a typo. ;-)
