UPDATED: Police Seek Information on Suspicious Man

A white male approached an 11-year-old out of town female on April 21 near North and South drives.

(Editor's Note: This story has been updated to include that the girl in question was not from East Brunswick.)

Police are investigating an incident that took place April 21 in which a white man approached an 11-year-old girl and offered her a toy before driving away, according to a press released issued by Capt. William Krause.

Police said the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and driving a mini-van in the area of North and South drives at 2:51 p.m.

The child did not speak and the man drove away, but was seen again later in the area of a nearby residence, which she was walking to at the time. Police said the girl was not an East Brunswick resident and was visiting a relative.
