Two Charged in Pine Ridge Burglaries

The men allegedly entered three homes through the back door on Jan. 26.

Two Spotswood men were charged in connection with three Pine Ridge burglaries in January.

Arthur Stiener, 39, of Spotswood, was charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of theft and two counts of criminal mischief, and Christopher Johnson, 28, also of Spotswood, was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, police said.

The burglaries occurred on Jan. 26, two on Pine Ridge Drive and one on Mitchell Avenue. In each incident, entry to the residences appeared to have been made through rear doors, police said. Detective Jason Haykel was assigned to investigate the burglaries. Based on information developed and evidence obtained he was able to acquire enough information to charge two Spotswood men with all three burglaries, police said.
