Free Rabies Clinic

On Saturday Nov. 5, East Brunswick will hold its annual Free Rabies Clinic.  The clinic is held rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Works Garage on Harts Lane.  The clinic hours are 11 a.m. to noon for cats only, and noon to 3 p.m. for cats and dogs.

All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be leashed. All cats and dogs must be accompanied by an adult, contained or leashed.  Any animals not meeting these requirements will not be admitted. 

Rabies vaccinations must be current in order to license cats or dogs.  It is safe to re-vaccinate pets before the current vaccination expires.  No animal licenses will be issued unless the animals’ vaccination is current.

Rabies vaccinations must not expire before Nov. of the licensing year to be considered current. 

Animal licenses are annual and run from Jan. 1- Dec. 31 of the licensing year.  All cats and dogs over six months old must be licensed.  Proof of a current rabies vaccination must be presented at the time of licensing and updated as needed.
