United FC Moves Ahead in State Cup Competition

The boy came up with a last minute victory Sunday at Heavenly Farms.

The U13 United FC East Brunswick Soccer Club boys squad is on fire.

The team will face Milburn SC Titans Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m at the Wall Soccer Club facilities.This is the third trip in three years to the Semi-Finals for United. The team won the 2010 New Jersey State Championship. United is coached by 2011 New Jersey Youth Soccer Travel Coach of the Year, Hector Escobar, Joe Camarota and Ilear Shehaj.

"This is an exciting achievement by this team," said EBSC President James Harmon. "The club is very proud of their accomplishments. The coaching staff has done a wonderful job and the team is focused. Please join me in congratulating the team for making it this far. I hope people can come down to Wall this weekend to support our club. We have had a truly magical year. Coach Hector was named 2011 New Jersey Youth Soccer Travel Coach of the Year. We have had several teams advance in the New Jersey State Cup and we have a chance for a team to be the first East Brunswick Soccer Club team to be a two time champion in over 15 years."

The team defeated the Ironbound SC Navigators 2-1 Sunday at Heavenly Farms to move ahead in the tournament, according to coach Joe Camarota. The team won in the final 30 secons of the second overtime period. Two weeks ago, the team defeated the New Jersey Force Arsenal 2-1.

The game will be played at Wall Soccer Clubs Facilities.
