U-10 EBBL All-Stars Finish A Strong Summer

The squad finished the summer with a record of 23 and 6.

The East Brunswick Baseball League U-10 All-Stars finished the summer with a record of 23-6.

The squad was Cal Ripken District 9 Champions, defeating South Brunswick 7-3. They performed well in the State Tournament, falling to Bayonne in the semi-finals and won the North Brunswick Tournament, defeating Montgomery 15-9, and the Edison Tournament, where they defeated host Edison 5-2.

The team was an offensive juggernaut, averaging close to 11 runs a game. The pitching and defense was also strong, allowing fewer than six runs a game. The team hopes to stay together for the fall and looks to advance past the state tournament in 2012.
